In a few words ...

Montrose "Rouge" is fruity and easy-drinking, with supple tannins. Don't hesitate to refresh it slightly when the sun comes out! Vinification: each grape variety and terroir is vinified separately. Grapes are destemmed. Short maceration (7 days) followed by fermentation in juice at low temperature (22°) for Grenache and Syrah. For Merlot, longer maceration (3 weeks) and fermentation at a higher temperature (29°) with pumping over and racking of the juice. After fermentation, the wines are blended and aged in stainless steel and lined concrete vats. They are bottled in spring.
