Christian zuria began planting vines in the bonifacio area in 2013. With the help of his wife nadine and son ivan, he has accomplished a titanic task: this young certified organic estate is in full development and is beginning its conversion to biodynamic viticulture. In the years to come, Christian zuria is set to write a landmark chapter in the history of island wines on this revitalized terroir. The sciaccarellu variety, complemented by the rare Morescone autochthonous variety, is showing enormous potential here. A spectacular winery at the foot of the vines, with a tasting room, is due to open in 2021, and will enable the estate to reach cruising speed. On the old limestone hillsides of Bonifacio, Domaine Zuria has quickly carved out a place for itself at the pinnacle of southern Corsican wines. The crocci cuvée from domaine zuria comes from the musella parcel of vermentinu vines planted on limestone terroirs. Hand-harvested, vinified and aged in wooden casks.
