The winemaker
Located in Dalmatia, this area grows mostly Plavac Hvar, local red grape. The culture of the vine in Croatia dates back to the first occupant. The Greeks are brought winemaking, and Romans continued this tradition by settling on a part of Croatia. But with phylloxera and wars, the wine culture was totally abandoned for many years. However, for about 10 years, Croatia has decided to put its wine heritage on the front of the stage. François Lurton have sensed the potential of this region still unknown for its wines, he decided to tap the potential of these new lands and these new varieties by importing into France. Plavac Mali, from which the wine of François Lurton is a grape thick skin and very sweet juice. It gives quite tannic red wines, and very fragrant bouquet. It provides among the best wines of the region.
