    SPECIAL MOMENTS Located in Cairanne, Domaine Grosset belonged to Alain Grosset, Laurent Brotte's father-in-law. Located at the foot of the old village, Domaine Grosset covers 20 hectares and is planted with century-old Grenache grapes. The warm, dry Mediterranean climate is ideal for the ripening of the Grenache grape.

    Intense, ruby color with carmine highlights.

    An elegant nose with complex aromas of red berries, warm spices and undergrowth.

    Taste

    An extension of the nose, the palate is unctuous, spicy with flavors of forest fruits and prunes and light notes of red pepper. This beautiful structure with elegant tannins gives way to a generous, persistent finish.

    Appellation

    Cairanne

    The appellation Cairanne is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Maison Brotte • Les Domaines and its 14 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
