In a few words ...

Situated on a plateau behind the famous Côte de Nuits, the soil is east-facing and faces south to east, capturing maximum sunlight. The climate is sometimes harsh, with cold, snowy winters and cooler summers, resulting in slower grape ripening. The result is wines marked by freshness, fruit and liveliness. It's a skill to balance this character with subtle ageing to give them roundness and fullness.

Bought to give to my dad for his birthday. He has just told me that he drank it with his best friend. For him, it's the best wine he's ever drunk. Bravo to the producers, and thank you for making this gift.

I liked this, a nice smooth wine, very easy to drink. I got it at a nice price (19€) and would buy again at that price (currently nearer 26€ however).

A style I like very much, complex wine, raspberry on the palate, nice smoky notes.
