This Cortina Zinfandel 2013 comes from the eponymous vineyard, planted in 1972 in Dry Creek Valley, which, with very low yields, produces concentrated, intense grapes, a profile that is reflected in the wine. This mastery of oak (13 months in French and American oak barrels (75%-25%), 20% of which are new) and its terroir make it a great wine, one of the best Zinfandels in the country.

Elegant, dark ruby color with garnet highlights.

Beautiful, vibrant aromas of black cherry and raspberry, supported by cinnamon, white pepper, tobacco and mocha, lots of warmth and complexity.
