"clos saint denis grand cru 2008 within the domaine gagey, the historic vineyard of the gagey family whose history is inextricably linked with that of the jadot family, are some exceptional parcels of grand cru. Particularly in the small commune of morey-saint-denis in the côtes de nuits region, where there are four grands crus, including the famous clos saint denis. Domaine Gagey's Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is aged in Burgundy oak barrels for 18 months. The 2008 vintage reveals a garnet-red, slightly tile-red color. On the nose, aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, spices and undergrowth are very pronounced. On the palate, the tannins are powerful yet elegant, promising exceptional ageing potential".
