    Philippe Cuvelier presents here his first vintage. Very much in the Clos Fourtet style, this is a long-ageing wine, still very fresh, whose powerful concentration and structure guarantee great ageing potential. The grape varieties, 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, offer a powerful, racy wine. With their flattering red fruit aromas, Clos Fourtet wines are also full-bodied and fleshy, with excellent ageing potential.

    Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

    The appellation Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is part of the region of Bordeaux from France which include Clos Fourtet and its 27 cuvées. Spread over 80% red wines, but also 11% white wines, 9% rosé, this region is 6 million hectolitres per yer (80% red wines + white wines (dry, sweet and fortified), clairet and crémant rosés).
