The winemaker

The estate was founded in 1935 by Catalan immigrant Miguel Viu-García and his two sons. Viu Manent is a Chilean estate that has been in the hands of the Viu family since its foundation. Their wine is made from their own vines in the Colchagua Valley, 130 km south of Santiago. The estate's 254 hectares are divided between different vineyards: San Carlos, La Capilla, and El Olivar. The vineyard's long history has been guided by a family passion and unconditional dedication to the excellence and quality of their wine.
