Château Petit-Village is a 10.5-hectare estate located on the Pomerol plateau, a superb terroir of gravel and clay on a subsoil of iron dross. Owned by the Axa Millésimes group, the estate has been run by Christian Seely, with the advice of Stéphane Derenoncourt since the 2006 vintage. Tasting notes
Appearance
Pomerols are usually dark ruby in color, with violet highlights when young, and brick hues as they age.
Aroma
The bouquet is often rich and complex, with notes of black and red fruits. Empyreumatic notes are also present, with leather, roasting and a hint of vanilla.

A Pomerol to match! The tannins are there, and cellar ageing will sublimate them.
