Golden color. Aromas of ripe lemons, dried apricots, honey and candied fruit. Oily and full on the palate. The vineyards are located in the southern part of the Barsac region, just north of Sauternes, on clay-limestone soils planted with vines of an average age of 30 years. The region's particular microclimate, where the cold current of the Ciron meets the Garonne, favors the appearance of the noble mold botrytis cinerea, necessary for Sauternes wines, when the grapes reach maturity. As a rule, fog banks form in the morning and are dissipated in the afternoon by dry, warm weather. During this process, the grapes dry out and, over several weeks, most of their water content is removed, resulting in a high concentration of aromas and sugars in the small berries. allergene:enthält sulfite
