The grape varieties planted at La Tour Carnet are unusual for the Médoc, with a majority of Merlot (62%) versus 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the remainder Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The great oenologist Michel Rolland advises the estate. J. Suckling: 92-93/100
