The Saint Emilion vineyards have been listed as a World Heritage Site since 1999. It is the largest wine-growing region in the Libourne region. st emilion wines are fleshy, spicy and often marked by a fruity note. the great king louis xiv dubbed them "the nectar of the gods".the wines have an intense red color with notes of red or black fruit on the nose. The tannic structure becomes silky and mellow with ageing, and the aromatic palette is enriched by more complex spicy notes.
The 1990 vintage was marked by great sunshine, large volumes and therefore a great year. The red wines had excellent tannin structure and a good balance of sugar and acidity.
