    In a few words ...

Harvesting is triggered by ripeness checks, analysis of the polyphenols contained in the grape skins and daily tasting of the grapes as harvest approaches. Picking healthy, ripe grapes is the key to achieving the highest quality. Harvesting is done by hand, and the grapes are brought to the winery within the hour using comportes. The grapes are sorted and destemmed before being placed in temperature-controlled vats. Each grape variety is vinified separately. Maceration lasts between 20 and 25 days. At the end of winter, the wines are transferred to new 225-liter barrels for a stay of between 12 and 16 months in the magnificent Hospitalet winery (2,000 barrels). The fine lees are stirred periodically. The best barrels of each grape variety are selected and blended to produce this cuvée.

We're on the verge of perfection! A very intense wine of red fruits and spices. Silky tannins. Simply voted best red wine in the world (the 2017 vintage). Superb

What a pleasure! A powerful wine of red fruit and chocolate with hints of roasting. Full of character, yet fresh and elegant. Grandiose!

I still bought this wine for 6.90€ in 2008, but I think the price has evolved much more than the wine, even if it is a very good wine, the price is no longer in line...so 4 stars for the quality.

We loved this intense, powerful red fruit wine with a touch of spice. A wine of character that has retained a certain freshness. A pleasure to share with friends.

This red wine is as full-bodied and sun-drenched as the southern terroirs from which it comes. Its strength will not go well with dishes that are too delicate.

Oak, tobacco, vanilla, then ripe red fruit, all in impeccable transition and with stunning balance! Deserves to be forgotten for a while...
