    In a few words ...

James SUCKLING - 92 : "A ripe and fruit-forward nose with blackberries and mulberries, as well as hints of dried flowers, walnut and wet earth. Medium- to full-bodied with polished tannins and a velvety texture. Structured and meaty with a chalky finish. "

    Tasting notes

    Appearance

A black suit that hints at character.

    Aroma

An elegant, subtle nose of very ripe red and black fruits, with spicy notes and delicate oak.

Wine Floral | Fruity | Vegatable

    Taste

One decant to discover blackcurrant aromas and empyreumatic notes. You might think its tannins are austere, but no, it's elegance before conviviality and generosity.

Very nice. A little fragile compared to the 2007 la folie that I also tasted. It requires a tiny bit of decanting and will be very pleasant and delicate with the right care. It would be a shame not to taste this nectar for this price, so I'll give it top marks.

I recommend this wine which, despite its age, can still improve and improve with time. A real marvel for its modest price. Also, it's a real shame that after having ordered these much-appreciated wines, as a Belgian, we can no longer order from them, as they no longer deliver to us.

A vintage that has kept its power, with silky tannins, a perfect reflection of the Graves terroir!

Hello, this wine should be drunk now, but first it must be decanted to appreciate its silky, balanced tannins, without acidity. Very pleasant on the palate, this wine combines power and suppleness. A perfect reflection of the Graves terroir. Excellent value for money!

A very nice wine, like its counterpart from the same château (La raison), it needs to be well aerated before tasting to reach its full potential. It deserves its name, as it has a little more "pep" than La Raison. To be recommended!

This 2007 vintage offers excellent value for money. Very pleasant on the palate with red meats or cheeses, this wine combines powerful flavor and suppleness. A wine to enjoy for pleasure. I recommend it (and I've had more!).
