Château Croizet-Bages, located on the Bages plateau in Pauillac, is made of gravel. Croizet Bages had already been classified as one of the Médoc's "grands crus" in 1776 by Dupré de Saint Maur, and was ranked 5th Grand Cru in 1855. From the estate's origins until 1934, Croizet Bages belonged to the Calvé family. The estate was taken over in 1942 by the Quié family, who continue to work with passion on this exceptional estate.
