In a few words ...

The dry, sunny weather and cool nights enabled the skins to ripen slowly and evenly. As a result, phenolic ripeness of the skins and pips was achieved without any problems. Alcoholic fermentation was relatively slow, ending with a wine with an alcohol content of over 13.5%. Balance and aromatic power perfectly characterize this exceptional 2009 vintage.

Appearance

Beautiful deep ruby hue with brilliant reflections.

Aroma

Complex nose of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry) and cherry. Smells of jam jars tinged with notes of sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla) and coffee.

Taste

On the palate, the attack is supple and warm, characterized by a balance between power and freshness. Cinnamon and black cherry intermingle, revealing very ripe, smooth and powerful tannins.
