In a few words ...

An elegant wine. The location: in the Vallée de Vauvillien, nestled between the two Premiers Crus Mont de Milieu and Montée de Tonnerre. Joseph Drouhin owns around 6 ha, among the best parcels. The Drouhin family named this wine after their water mill on the Serein, a river running through Chablis. History & tradition: in the 1960s, when the Chablis vineyards were being abandoned, Robert Drouhin believed in the potential of the soil ravaged by phylloxera a century earlier. He was one of the first Burgundy winegrowers to exploit the potential of this soil, producing wines typical of their native terroir.
