This brilliant ruby-red cuvée with hints of violet is remarkably elegant. The nose reveals a subtle bouquet of cherries, blackberries, plums and jam, with a pleasant balsamic base note. Aged for 12 months in barrel, Cauro is a wonderfully persistent, round wine. After the traditional temperature-controlled fermentation of red wine and a 15-day maceration on the berry skins, malolactic fermentation also takes place in steel vats. The cuvée is then aged for 12 months in French barriques and large Italian oak barrels, followed by a further 6 to 9 months in bottle. Allergene:enthält sulfite
