Pleasant ruby-red color with an intense fragrance of red and black berries. On the palate, reminiscent of forest fruits, plums and laurel with hints of spice. Superb structure and body, full-bodied like red jam. Soft tannins and a soaring finish. For this wine, the best vines are hand-harvested and then left on the must for maceration at around 5-6°c. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at 26-28°c. Malolactic fermentation takes place in steel vats and barrels. The wine is then stored for 6 months in steel vats (70%) and French and American oak barrels (30%), before being blended, bottled and released for sale.
