VIGNO is a 100% Carignan from the Maule valley's Cauquenes and Curimaqui terroirs. The vines are at least 35 years old, and the wine is fermented with natural yeasts to preserve the character of the terroir. The wine is aged in oak tuns for 12 months, then rested in bottle for 1 year before being released for sale.
Appearance
Intense, brilliant ruby with violet edges.
Aroma
The nose develops pleasant aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrants and redcurrants, and flowers such as violets.
Taste
Supple, elegant tannins on the palate. The wine's liveliness makes it long and juicy.
