Château de la Terrière has stood in Cercié in the heart of the Beaujolais region since the 16th century. It is one of the oldest estates in the region. The vines, with a total surface area of 28 ha, are on average 50 years old, and stretch due south over the mid-slopes of a granite hill. The aim of Fréderic Maignet, the Château's master builder, is to give the wine time to fully express itself and reflect the complexity of the terroir.
