Bouzeron is a small village on the Côte Chalonnaise near Rully. This village appellation is recent, dating back to 1998, and is characterized by the fact that it produces only white wines from the Aligoté grape variety. The area under production is 47 hectares. Bouzeron is the only village appellation produced with aligoté (a cross between gouais and pinot noir). This wine is well-structured and full-bodied, with dynamic peach aromas and well-digested acidity, full of freshness and not too tannic.
