In a few words ...

domaine michel bouzereau et fils is located in meursault, burgundy. It has been farmed by the same family for seven generations. Its illustrious neighbors include caillot, albert grivault and fichet. The domaine michel bouzereau et fils produces mainly white wines in meursault and puligny-montrachet, thanks to the chardonnay grape, but also some red wines in volnay and pommard, thanks to pinot noir. Harvested by hand, the wines are aged in oak barrels and bottled after 12 or 18 months. In 1999, michel bouzereau handed over the running of the family estate to his son jean-baptiste, who had spent ten years learning the winemaking trade with him. For several vintages now, we've been delighted by the consistency and precise style of this estate's wines. Digestible, elegant and deep, they age harmoniously. The estate owns small parcels in some of the finest crus in the area. Jean-baptiste bouzereau vinifies his whites with great precision, adapting flexibly to the character of each vintage. Above all, he strives for elegance and purity, which is why his wines are rarely characterized by the strong notes of "white".
