Château Musar is located in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. It was created by gaston hochar in 1930 -when he was only 20 years old- who drew inspiration from lebanon's 6,000-year-old winemaking tradition and his travels to bordeaux. Serge hochar, his son, began producing wines in the late 1950s. His brother, Ronald, joined him in the early 1960s. Today, 85% of production is exported. They produce 700,000 bottles a year. This wine is made from 50% obaideh and 50% merwah, grape varieties indigenous to Lebanon.
