The estate's intermediate white cuvée, between the cuvée château and the extremely rare chapelle, "baron g." is a true gourmet wine that benefits from a few years' ageing. It is one of the finest expressions of the rolle grape, usefully complemented by a touch of chardonnay. this 2012 is simply magnificent: pale gold color with green highlights, powerful, complex nose (notes of cedar and bergamot, lightly toasted oak, honey), racy palate with lovely substance, on flavors of broom and grapefruit, lively finish with lovely saline sapidity. 95% rolle, 5% chardonnay. Average age of 30 years. Poudingue soil: Pliocene pebbles and very light-colored sand crossed by a few clay veins. Altitude 250-300m. Aged 10 months in barrel. Drink now or within two years.

Grey gold with green highlights.
Aroma
Nez très puissant, d’une grande complexité à dominante fruitée (agrumes et groseilles grappes). Des notes de noisettes grillées soulignent un boisé discret et élégant.
