    In a few words ...

Baron de Brane is the second wine made at Domaine Brane-Cantenac in Gironde. 75 hectares of vines cultivated on deep gravel soils produce excellent AOC Margaux wines. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Carmenère are blended according to the vintage. Baron de Brane offers Margaux wines with purple hues, floral to woody aromas, accompanied by round, greedy notes of red fruit, perfectly illustrating the terroir.

    Tasting notes

    Appearance

Dense, dark garnet-red color, tending toward violet in its youth.

    Aroma

In the Margaux appellation, black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant, sometimes cooked, are combined with an empyreumatic quality that gives off hints of roasted coffee and licorice.

    Wine Fruity

    Taste

On the palate, the best Margaux wines are those that have perfectly integrated their tannins into their structure, giving them roundness. The nose's aromas of black fruit and tertiary flavors such as leather and vanilla are also present.

Its barrel-ageing reveals toasty notes that are highly appreciated on a cheese platter.
