Intense garnet-red with orange nuances due to the ripening process. Characteristic structure, elegant and soft with notes of dried roses. Full-bodied, complex, with interesting bitter nuances and a velvety finish. The vineyards are located in the classified area around the village of barbaresco. Vinification takes place at controlled temperatures of 24-28°c for 10-15 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures 80% in 100 hl Slavonian oak barrels and 20% in 700 l French oak barrels, before being bottled and aged for a few more months in the bottle before being released for sale. The 'beni di batasiolo' winery, owned by the dogliani family, is one of the largest wineries in the langhe region, and used to farm around 107 ha under its own management. In 1978, the dogliani brothers purchased the historic chiola à la morra winery, which integrated the vineyards of the family estate. Today, 9 estates are operated in la morra with the batasiolo, morino, cerequio and zonchetta vineyards, in serralunga d'alba with the boscareto vineyards and the historic corda della briccolina, in barolo with the bricco di vergne vineyard and in monforte d'alba with the tantesi and bofani vineyards. Barolo nebbiolo is grown on around 60 hectares. The Dogliani brothers decided to unite these properties under the name 'beni di batasiolo', a name derived from the cellar's centerpiece, 'batasiolo'. Batasiolo is famous for its great red wines and produces some of the region's most prestigious wines, such as barolo, barbaresco, barbera d'alba sovrana and dolcetto d'alba bricco di vergne. It also produces wonderful white wines like gavi, from the commune of gavi. Allergene:enthält sulfite
