The winemaker

Vibo is a young field created by an old wine Chilean dynasties, the family Viu, Viu Manent domain owner in Colchagua. Renowned for the quality of its wines, and especially for its full Malbec from old vines, it is almost natural that the family was interested in the high vineyards on the other side of the Andes, those of Mendoza Argentina known to give some of the largest Malbec in the world. In 2007 José Miguel Viu Bottini made a first study tour in Uco Valley, located in the southwest of Mendoza. Convinced of the potential of the area, it returns the following year and vinified his first wines from parcels he spotted. The team in place, very international, is now well established and is based on a beautiful Argentinian bodegas, where Vistalba wines are vinified.
