    In a few words ...

Mainly Grenache (80%), 10% Mourvèdre (over eighty years old), 10% Syrah (fifty years old). The vines are planted at high density, with very low yields (one bottle per vine). "Côtes du Rhône Villages Arcane XVIII Le Soleil is young, dark-colored and fruity, but also displays silky, mellow tannins. It's full-bodied but not overdone, with a sensational mouthfeel. Black cherries define the fruit, joined by notes of dark chocolate and enough garrigue to give it a seriously savory character despite the fruit. This is an old grape variety of 80% Grenache with 10% Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged 15 months in one-third new oak, the rest in concrete or foudre. Perhaps the best Côtes du Rhône Villages I've ever tasted, it looks like it has the stuffing for another 10 years." Parker

"Without doubt the best Côte du Rhône Villages I have ever tasted", "Sensationally seductive on the palate".

Le Soleil is structured and powerful, just like its brother Le Diable - in short, a true Southern delight!

The best in my cave! Impressive length on the palate, leaving a pleasant, lingering impression. A very good vintage. I loved the fruit and the clean entry on the palate. The wine is round.

a very pleasant, open, complex, gourmand bottle. Tasted in summer with grilled meats, closely related to the 2015 Diable.

This wine is a pleasant surprise. Fruity on the nose and palate, this wine has a feminine, velvety quality.

Very powerful, requires a food and wine pairing with character to allow the wine to reveal itself. Surprising
