Année Blanche Château Clos Saint-Emilion Philippe Red wine ● Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
2017 75clAndreas Larson: "Dense dark purple color. Sweet, ripe, almost port-like nose with dark berries, blackcurrant, cherry and some oak combined with a fine spiciness. Very dense palate with high extract, lots of tannins, fresh acidity underneath, with lovely black fruit notes and good length. Needs time to soften. Drink after 2021."
"You'll be seduced by this well-composed bouquet of red and black fruits, enhanced by a subtle vanilla woodiness. The proportions on the palate are pleasant, giving immediate pleasure. The tannins are supple and offer a smooth, juicy finish. A good wine with a classic, controlled style."
