Brilliant golden yellow. saint aubin 1er cru 'les combes au sud' 2015 opens directly on an intense, powerful note. Ethereal notes of macerated mint, basil and lovage kick things off. Clear mineral notes of seaweed and shellfish appear after sufficient contact with oxygen, its fruit initially remaining in the background with notes of green apple and lime, then becoming more pronounced with maturity. on the tongue, saint aubin 1er cru 'les combes au sud' 2015 is spicy and incisive. Juicy fullness, combined with fine tannins and spicy notes that are almost a little reminiscent of cinnamon and juniper. This makes for a powerful white wine that's perfect for pairing with more full-bodied cuisine.
